CHANGE IS POSSIBLE

You can't hear this too much: YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE BY CHANGING THE WAY YOU THINK!

I don't believe that you can change the basic biological facts of your life, such as eye color or blood type...the blueprint of your DNA, if you will...you are who you are...for example, if you suffer from the kind of clinical depression that is physiological, I think that it's irresponsible to just assume that you can make it go away by positive thinking...whatever is biological in origin must be dealt with biologically...in those kinds of cases, mental illness should be treated like any other physical illness...but you can definitely make your situation better by better thought patterns, regardless of your physiology...


Several people have even asked me since I started writing this blog if I think that sexual orientation can be changed by changing one's thinking, and my answer to that is definitely "no", simply because I am convinced that sexual orientation is biological (I know that by personal experience, if nothing else)...

But I do believe without a doubt that you can become the very best version of yourself, and live the life that you really desire by upgrading the quality of your thoughts...you can't change the "nature", but you can change the "nurture", if you know what I mean...in other words, you don't have a lot of control over how you were when you were born into the world (unless you believe that you chose to come here before you were born...but that's for another post), but your environment is pretty much totally the manifestation of your thought-life...

There's somewhat of a minor dispute over who actually said, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results", but it's generally attributed to Albert Einstein...it certainly sounds like something that he would have said...regardless of who said it first, it's definitely the truth...there's a very good reason why Paul in his writings used phrases like "be transformed by the renewing of your mind", and "be renewed in the spirit of your mind"...transformation definitely happens when thought patterns change...

As we've already said several times, you attract to yourself whatever is the substance of the predominant thoughts that you're holding in your awareness, whether those thoughts are conscious or unconscious...the whole 'Laws of Attraction' thing is not a new concept...in fact, it's quite ancient...eternal, really...the knowledge of the Lord fills all the earth as the waters cover the sea...

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The good news is that the moment you decide that what you know is more important than what you have been taught to believe, you will have shifted gears in your quest for abundance. Success comes from within, not from without."...but long before that, the Apostle John said things like "you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things", and "let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning", and "you have no need that any man should teach you"...

Perhaps the greatest discovery of modern times is that every person has within himself/herself a particle of the creative force that birthed the universe...knowing that, if you can develop a mental attitude in which you are constantly expecting good, you exercise your fundamental right to good...Jesus said, "to them that have will more be given", and that principle is operating in our lives at every moment of the day, every day...

"Most everybody is thinking so many kinds of thoughts, which pass each other and lack harmony. It is no wonder they are getting such results in their lives. If a gardener plants a thousand kinds of seeds, he has a thousand kinds of plants. You plant the seed of thought." - Ernest Holmes...

...James said it this way: "A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways..."

Thought is creative...it's as simple as that...you are constantly in the process of creating your entire life with your thoughts...what you are now is the result of what you have previously thought and said...what you are thinking and saying now will determine what and who you will eventually become...

One more Emerson quote, if you please:

"Cause and effect, means and end, seed and fruit, cannot be severed, for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end preexists in the means, the fruit in the seed."...

Change is definitely possible.

Your life can change, and it can change for the better!

THE OBSERVER EFFECT: ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

Yesterday at METRON I started a new series called 'Spiritual Insight and the Observer Effect', which for me if a fascinating subject that I am energized to explore fully...Quantum Physics shows us that it is the act of observing an object or an event or a condition or a circumstance that causes it to be there, and that the outcome is based only on our choice and how we observe it...this concept is discussed quite a bit in the Scriptures...for example, this famous passage: "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life..."...the Universe constantly "sets before us" a quantum field of potential, and an event in our lives becomes either a blessing or a curse, depending on how we observe that event... an object cannot and does not exist independently of its observer...again I say that God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them, and whatever Adam called them, God called them...the Universe brings sub-atomic particles to us to see what we will call them, and whatever or however we observe them to be, the Universe agrees with our observation, and they manifest as our reality...there really is no "objective reality"...everything is subject to the observer...

The Quantum Field is an infinite field of potential...all things are possible... anything and everything that has, does or will exist in the Newtonian world, begins as a wave in this "quantum field" and is transformed into the physical realm, limited only by what can be conceived as truth by the observer...Jesus didn't say that "the truth" would make you free, He said that the truth that you "know" would make you free! Medicine doesn't make a sick person well...the medicine that the sick person takes can make them well...

If something isn't truth for you, the observer, then for you it's not The Truth...that's why revelation is so important, and can't be grandfathered in...it's why we talk about the concept of a "Rhema word"...you could say that the Logos is an infinite field of potential, but the Rhema manifests when the Logos is "observed", and becomes real to the individual...

I don't hear this phrase used so much in my circles these days, but there was a time in my life when I was regularly around people who I would hear say "You need to stand on the Word!" or "I'm standing on the Word for my healing!" or "Stand on the Word for your deliverance!"...of course, "The Word" they were referring to was the Christian Bible, the protestant canon of Scriptures to be exact (and usually the King James Version)...truth be told, over the years I've seen a lot of people die who were "standing on 'the Word' for their healing", and I've heard a lot of people talk about the benefits of standing on the Word for this and that, but, in all honesty, haven't seen those people manifest a lot of desired effect from it...as a result, I've come to the conclusion that we indeed need to "stand on the word", but we need to stand on the word that's written on our hearts, not the "Word" that's written on paper...just standing in theory on a set of Scriptures that may or may not be relevant to your personal situation probably won't get you the outcome you desire...

Consider this...in the Gospel of Mark, the woman with issue of blood said in her heart, "If I can just touch the hem of His clothes, I will be made well"...she had no "Word" to confirm that idea...no Scriptural precedent...no one even to agree with her for that to happen, because there was no doctrine of "clothes-touching" that existed...it was an original thought...her original observation of possibilities...she basically made up her own "Word" concerning touching the clothes of someone she had never met, in order to stop a 12 year hemorrhaging problem that no doctor had been able to cure...and she got a manifestation of what she observed! Jesus said to her, "YOUR faith has made you whole!"...He could just as easily have said "Your observation of the infinite quantum field has made you whole"...she created her own reality and it worked for her, but I dare say that if someone else tried to copy her and get the same results that they would be greatly disappointed...her manifestation of reality was the result of her own observation!

Not everyone wants to hear this, but for the most part, we are responsible for what happens in our own lives...that shouldn't make you sad or too introspective about why your life is the way it is...on the contrary, it should inspire you to observe the infinite quantum field, and realize all the options that you have...if you observe that it's a good day, it becomes a good day...if you observe that you are successful, then you are successful...

All things are possible to him that believes...

All things are manifested to him as he observes...

TODAY AT METRON - 8/10/14

This morning our second event with the Metron Community presented us with a great learning experience about how to successfully deal with technical challenges...kudos to our excellent tech people for rising to the occasion with professionalism...the message was still delivered...challenges are just a part of changing and growing, and we are still getting our sea legs on a brand new shore, so no harm done...it was a beautiful day...rain storms were predicted for the whole area, but there were clear, blue skies over Midtown...gratitude for that...thanks for your patience today, everyone, especially you streamers, because we know we had challenges in cyber-space, as well...but we got through it all and it's all good and we are even more committed now to moving forward in excellence...we are moving in the right direction and creating something wonderful, and days like today only serve to make us even more sure of how connected we all are to the vision...it was a good day, but it will be better next week...

A BLESSING TO HELP YOU CREATE YOUR DAY

…I speak a blessing over you today, whoever you are, just because you logged onto this site...I am grateful for all of you who participate in the METRON Community in any capacity…for all that this cyber-community is NOW, and for all that it is becoming…as each one of you “comes out of the tent” and “looks up and counts the stars”, I believe that you are moving beyond old limitations today…and by the Christ-consciousness that is being revealed in you as individuals and as a network, I say that you are allowing yourself to express His nature freely and creatively in the earth…

ABRACADABRA!

"At the very beginning there was willed action, and the willed action then was by God (Alaha), and God was that willed action. The beginning was by God. All was by Him and without Him not a single thing came into being out of that which was. From Him there came into being a perfect life and this perfect life became light unto all men. And this light out of darkness caused light, and darkness did not overcome..."
(John 1:1-5 - Khaboris Manuscript, in Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke)

The Old Testament was written in Hebrew...the New Testament was written in Greek...Jesus actually spoke Aramaic, which is a family of languages or dialects belonging to the Semitic family...more specifically, it is a part of the Northwest Semitic subfamily, which also includes Canaanite languages such as Hebrew and Phoenician...the Aramaic script was widely adopted for other languages, and is ancestral to both the Arabic and modern Hebrew Alphabets.

The Gospels record some instances in which Jesus' native tongue was left untranslated...when He raised Jairus' daughter from the dead, He said the phrase, "Talitha cumi!" (some versions say "Talitha koumi!" or "Talitha kum!"), which means "Little girl, arise!" or "Young lady, I say to you 'get up'!"...

On the cross, as He for the first time and for an instant completely identified with the human perception of being disconnected from God, cried out ""Eli Eli lama sabachthani?" (some versions say "Eloi, Eloi..."), which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?"...

Interestingly, the word “Abracadabra” may derive from an Aramaic phrase meaning “I create as I speak”...

This etymology is rather dubious, however, as אברא כדברא in Aramaic is more reasonably translated "I create like the word"... the second lexeme* in this supposedly Aramaic phrase must be a noun given the presence of the definite article on the end of the word (it cannot be an infinitive construct, as the infinitive cannot take the definite article)...

Regardless, this phrase would actually be pronounced "ebra kidbara", which is clearly different from abracadabra...however, Semitic languages like Aramiac are not always hard and fast with the assignment of vowels, and abracadabra is similar enough to ebra kidebra, given the tendency of vowels to shift...

In the Hebrew language, the phrase translates more accurately as "it came to pass as it was spoken"...

In Genesis we see that the Elohim (literally translated "the gods", plural) spoke the Universe into existence...later in Genesis, as Abraham developed and promoted the idea of monotheism, we begin to see "God" referred to less and less as "them", and almost completely as "Him"...we see the concept used again when David said, "You have made them (people) a little lower than the Elohim (translated into English as "angels")...but in the opening verses of the Bible, it is clearly "them", as in "Let US create people in OUR image"...in the Khaboris Manuscript (Aramaic), Jesus refers to God as "Alaha" , which is a derivative of Elohim (also spelled Alueim)...Muslims use the very same word as "Allah"...(everything is connected to everything)...

'In A beginning, created by the Alueim were the heavens and the earth. Yet the earth became a chaos and vacant, and darkness was on the surface of the submerged chaos. Yet the spirit of the Alueim IS VIBRATING over the surface of the water. And saying is the Alueim, "Become light!" And it is becoming light.'

 (Genesis 1:1-3 - The Concordant Literal Old Testament)

Wow! Wow! Wow! Did you get that?! "...the spirit of the Alueim IS VIBRATING!"...not "vibrated" or "was vibrating", but IS, IS, IS VIBRATING!!!...I love how this amazing passage in this beautiful translation goes on to say "And saying IS the Alueim, 'Become light!' And it is BECOMING light."...seeing the Hebrew translated here in its proper tense confirms that creation is STILL HAPPENING, that the creative word is ONGOING, and that light is still BECOMING light (which is why the Universe is STILL EXPANDING at the speed of light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...in a word, the Elohim "creates as it speaks..."

ABRACADABRA = "I create as I speak"...

One day Jesus said to His disciples what was perhaps His most startling statement ever...He told them a very powerful secret which we are just beginning to understand 2,000 years later...He said "You shall do greater works than Me..."

If ABRACADABRA means "I create as I speak" in Jesus' native tongue...if the Elohim or "the gods" are still creating light by the vibration of their words (and remember in the 10th chapter of John that Jesus quoted the Psalms by saying "I said you were gods..."), then there is absolutely no limit to what can be done, beginning in this very moment...

You are very powerful...

You have amazing abilities...

If you have the potential to create a Universe of light, then you certainly can create the life you want!

I AM WHAT I AM...I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE (Part 2)

I Am that I Am (אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה, ehyeh ašer ehyeh) 

These days there is so much being discussed and written about the subject of  "I AM" declarations/affirmations, especially among people who are aware of and in sync with the Law(s) of Attraction...in a similar flow, those of us who have a background in and connection to the 'Word of Faith' movement have heard teaching about "positive confession" for many, many years, which has been largely based on a passage in the Gospel of Mark (Chapter 11, verse 23) where Jesus told His disciples that they could have what they say if they would believe with their heart that what they said would come to pass...actually, there are many Scriptures that make a similar connection between the heart and the mouth ("Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable...", "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks...", "With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation", etc.)...

Jesus is recorded, especially in the Gospel of John, as making many different "I AM" declarations..."I AM the Bread of Life"..."I AM the door..."I AM the Good Shepherd"..."I AM the way, the truth and the life", "Before Abraham was, I AM", etc...even in the Gospel of Luke, when He stands to read Isaiah's famous prophecy in the assembly ("The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me..."), He seems to be walking in a new awareness of who He is when He says "This day this prophecy is fulfilled in your ears"...it's nearly as if He is speaking Himself into existence by His own creative words...

“I AM” declarations/affirmations are powerful positive statements or commands of self-talk...intentions that are verbally expressed which describe a desired outcome...in the same way that Isaiah said that God "declared the end from the beginning", and Paul said that He "called those things which are not as though they are", these declarations ideally connect the present with the future...to really work they are supposed to be repeated many times a day, in order to impress the subconscious mind, and trigger it into positive action through vibrational frequency to the brain...Jesus warned His followers to be aware of "vain repetitions", and said that they should not assume that God would answer their prayers simply because of their "much speaking" (He was particularly referring to the empty religious ritual of "chanting" that was quite popular in the day and in that part of the world), but in fact there is proven validity in saying positive words, and continually repeating them in order to ensure their effectiveness...the repetition is not for God's sake, but for the sake of the individual who is doing the speaking...these affirmations should be repeated with intention, conviction, belief, and desire...two of the most powerful words in your every day language are “I AM”, because what you insert after them will ultimately shape your reality...Paul said that "faith comes by hearing", which just means that what you hear the most you end up believing the easiest, and the person you hear speaking the most is of course you!

Thoughts certainly have vibrations, and the internal monologue is very powerful and creative ( or destructive), but putting a thought into a word definitely takes the vibration to another level...tunes it into a higher frequency...God didn't think the words 'Let there be light', He said the words 'Let there be light!'...Jesus said to speak to the mountain, not just to speak about the mountain...what you tell yourself on a daily basis, whatever you are feeling, is what you are vibrating, and whatever you are vibrating is what you are attracting...

Yesterday I posted about God's declaration of "I am that I am" to Moses in the book of Exodus, and how it's actually more accurately translated "I will be what I will be"...we discussed how the words "I will be" contain a different energy than even the words "I am", because they speak not just to present reality, but to future potential...when I posted Part 1 on Facebook I got a lot of good response...my good friend Richard Garganta commented on it and said, "I heard a Rabbi expert on Hebrew once say this could be said, 'I exist because I am existence.'..."...I love it...just shows you how much variety and shades of meaning there are in the living, vibrating words of God!

 

Also on yesterday's post, Leslie commented and posed a great question when she said  "In the flow....but how do you change what you've already spoken? Spiritually I know this, however manifesting it in the natural is quite the obstacle. How far back do you go to lay the axe to the root? Would love to hear your perspective."...to which I responded,  "I'll answer in the next post, but let me go ahead and say that it's not that hard...the most profound changes usually happen with the least amount of effort..."the light shines in darkness, and the darkness cannot overtake it"...one positive word is more powerful than a thousand negative ones..."

Another good friend of mine, Donald Cofield, also responded to her question with this: "...Leslie that is an interesting question you had. My first thought carried me back in my mind to the old TV show "Bewitched". On it Endora...was often casting a spell (speaking a reality into existence) and it...never benefited her target. When her daughter Samantha got hip to her shenanigans she would finally get her to speak another spell which would cancel out the first spell. And personally I grew up on a farm and we have been known to literally disc a crop under (that's farm jargon) in order to make room for another crop that had more profit potential. I think that possibly a similar principle could apply to us in the spirit realm."

I couldn't have said it better...I do believe that what we are today is the product of what we said yesterday, but I also believe that the present is stronger than the past, that light is stronger than darkness, that positive energy is stronger than negative emergy, and that "I will be what I will be" is even stronger than "I am that I am"!

That which is now already has been, and that which is to be already has been; and God seeks that which has passed by [so that history repeats itself]. (Ecclesiastes 3:15 - Amplified Bible)

 

This passage in this translation talks about history repeating itself, but as we discussed in a previous post, I believe that you can even re-create your history by your words..."I was what I was...I am that I am...I will be what I will be"...God is apparently evolving and increasing...the Universe is growing and "appears to be accelerating faster and faster instead of slowing down, purportedly faster than the speed of light" (thanks for that, Lonna), and you are getting better every day! 

 

You will be what you will be, and you're going to be AWESOME!

I AM THAT I AM...I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE (Part 1)

I Am that I Am (אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה, ehyeh ašer ehyeh) 

For many years I've taught on the concept of God revealing Himself to Moses as the "I AM", and how that relates to the NOW, and how it has implications for us, and for the way we talk about ourselves, and the things that we say about ourselves on a daily basis...in these sermons I used to always say, "He didn't call Himself the great 'I Was', or the great 'I Will Be', and would make the connection with the word "AM" to the word "IS", as in 'God is in the NOW/we are in the NOW'...I would use the passage in the book of Hebrews that says "they that come to God must believe that HE IS..."  to make my point...

But as I have studied this more over the years, I have modified my teaching on the subject somewhat...as it turns out, the real interpretation of what God actually said to Moses is closer in meaning to "I will be what I will be" than it is to "I that I am"...Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; "ehyeh" is the first person singular imperfect form and is usually translated in English Bibles as "I will be" (or "I shall be"), for example, in Exodus 3:14... Ehyeh asher ehyeh literally translates as "I Will Be What I Will Be", with attendant theological and mystical implications in Jewish tradition...but in most English Bibles, in particular the King James Version, this phrase is rendered as I am that I am...

Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh  (often contracted in English as "I AM") is one of the Seven Names of God accorded special care by medieval Jewish tradition...the phrase is also found in other world religious literature, used to describe the Supreme Being, generally referring back to its use in Exodus...the word Ehyeh is used a total of 43 places in the Hebrew Bible, where it is often translated as "I will be" (as is the case for its first occurrence in Genesis 26:3), or "I shall be", (as is the case for its final occurrence in Zechariah 8:8)...used by God to identify himself at the burning bush, the importance placed on the phrase, as it is, stems from the Hebrew conception of monotheism..that God exists by Himself for Himself, and is the uncreated Creator who is independent of any concept, force, or entity; therefore "I am who I am" (ongoing)...

In the Hellensitic Greek literature of the Jewish Diaspora the phrase "Ehyeh asher ehyeh" was rendered in Greek "ego eimi", or "I am the BEING"....in the Septuagint (the Hebrews Scriptures translated into Greek), Exodus 3:14 is rendered "And God said unto Moses, I am HE WHO IS (ho ōn): and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, HE WHO IS has sent me unto you.^"

The great Philo of Alexandria (who is credited with coming up with the concept of 'Logos') translated it this way: "And God said, 'At first say unto them, 'I am (egō eimi) THE BEING', (ho ōn, nominative of ontos) that, when they have learned that there is a difference between THE BEING (ontos, genitive of ho ōn) and that-that-is-not (me ontos), they may be further taught that there is no name whatever that can properly be assigned to Me (ep' emou kuriologeitai), to whom (hoi) only (monoi) belongs (prosesti) the existence (to einai)."

What's the point of bringing all this up? Isn't the difference in shade of meaning between"I am that I am" and "I will be what I will be" so subtle that it couldn't possibly matter that much?...

Well, I think it's important for several reasons...it seems to me that the real meaning of the phrase is not just a declaration of present existence, but a statement of prophetic potential...what if God isn't static? What if God and the concept of God is evolving? As I have already posted, the Greek literally says, "Within a beginning (or: In union with Headship and Sovereignty) there was the Logos (the Word; the Thought; the collection of thoughts; the Idea; the Reason; the discourse; the communication; the verbal expression). And the Logos (the idea; the thought; the expression; the Word) was facing, [directed, and moving] toward, (or: continued being face to face with) God. And the Logos (the Word; the thought; the idea; the reason; the expression) continued being God" (John 1:1 - JMNT)...

In the beginning was the "Thought"..."the collection of thoughts"..."the Idea"...wow(!)...they say that the Universe is expanding and growing and continuing to create and re-create itself...what if there's a God-connection to that? What if our personal evolution is connected to God's personal evolution? 

What if when Jesus asked His disciples "Who do you say that I am?", He was implying more than we thought before? Was He telling them that they could in a sense "create" who He was by what they said about Him? The writer of Hebrews said, "Though He (Jesus) was a son, He learned obedience through the things he suffered (through process)"...Jesus clearly had to grow into the knowledge of who He was (or into Christ-consciousness, if you will)...what if we're all on the same journey? John said, "Beloved, NOW are we the sons of God, and does not yet appear what we shall be..."

With every statement that you make about yourself, you're not just saying who you are, you're declaring who and what you want to become...there is a greater version of you on the inside that is trying to manifest...talk up your future...talk up who are you becoming!

You're somewhere in the future, and you look much better than you look right now!

HEALTH, HEALING, AND WHOLENESS AND THE LAWS OF ATTRACTION

"I wish above all the things that you may prosper and BE IN HEALTH, even as your soul (mind - thoughts - emotions - will - imagination - intentions) prospers"...

O beloved one! I am continuously having (or: thinking and speaking) goodness, ease and well-being (or: wishing and professing loudly; claiming) concerning all things [for] you to be constantly having a prosperous journey (or: to progressively travel a good path; to habitually be prospered unto success; to be continuously helped along the Way) and to be constantly sound and healthy [in mind, thought and body] just as (or: to the same degree as) your soul (inner being; or: = your life) is progressively being prospered on its journey (helped along the Way; prospered unto success; caused to travel the Good Path).

I've been asked several times lately about how the Law or Laws of Attraction relate to health and healing, wellness and wholeness, and I'm happy to talk about it, but before I touch on this topic I need to give a disclaimer:

For those of you who may be having a physical challenge at this time, I believe that whatever system you have already submitted yourself to (especially if you have a serious or life-threatening condition), whether conventional medicine, or holistic/natural remedies or Eastern practices or Christian Science or New Age disciplines or you're just a "blood-bought believer", "standing on the Word" and confessing that 'by His stripes you are healed', you need to flow with that system and be in harmony with it...go with what resonates with you and gives you the most peace, and then believe in it and commit to it and expect it to work...the power of agreement is very strong, so if you go to a doctor, you need to really like him/her, or at least respect him/her enough to cooperate with him/her fully, and do what he/she says for you to do...in the Scriptures, people received healing in all manner of ways, some of them quite bizarre (Jesus even spat on dirt and made mud, which he applied to the eyes of a blind man and healed him with it, for example)...I believe from that that healing and health is not a monolithic area or subject, and even though everything in the Universe is no doubt connected to everything else, when it comes to your health, you need to do what is right for you...

That being said,  the ultimate question about the Law of Attraction and healing is this: Do your beliefs and perceptions about your physical condition (which are based upon past experience) create your future? When Jesus met the lame man at the Pool of Bethesda, He asked him if he wanted to be well...the man immediately went into his story about how he had been in that condition for 38 years, and had waited for someone all that time to put him in the healing waters when the angel came and stirred ("troubled") them...the man had no doubt told this story many, many times in 38 years, and it had become his self-perpetuating reality...Jesus didn't respond to hearing the man's well-rehearsed story by saying "No problem...I can heal you", or "Let's get the angel back down here to stir up this water", or "Let's find someone who can put you in the water the next time the angel visits", or "Let's build a ramp for you so you can get in the water and get your miracle"...if fact, He didn't seem to even hear the story...instead He simply said to the man, "Take up your bed and walk"...He didn't connect to the frequency or vibration of the man's four-decades-old story of sickness and victimization...in one phrase, one new idea, one new suggestion, He opened up a completely different frequency and created the template for en entirely different future for this man...He spoke a word of healing, as He had done in other situations, but in this particular instance He was also creating a brand new thought (neuropath) in the man's brain...

Medicine is ever changing and evolving, and doctors and hospitals are in a constant state of keeping themselves up-to-date...if you go to the hospital, you want it to be state-of-the-art and modern with access to the latest technological advances...but in reality, all study of sickness and disease by “science” is a study of the past...every study is a compilation of “facts” about physical bodies in the past....that's not totally a bad thing, because we can obviously learn from the past...but as we know from understanding the Law of Attraction, focus is creative...since we create what we focus on, simply studying a disease with intent focus most likely creates more disease to study...focusing on finding a "cure" for something is certainly a more positive focus of energy, but it still requires a belief in and focus on disease, which potentially yields more disease to be cured...

Again, a disclaimer: I am in no way suggesting that anyone reading this should stop taking their chemo-therapy or radiation or should cancel their surgical procedure or treatments for a serious illness...but I am saying, without apology, that if you want to be well, you are going to have to create and attract a different future for yourself, and stop the cycle of a self-perpetuating past...I can't tell you specifically how to do that...it's your life and it's your body and it's your reality...but I can tell you for sure that if you keep telling the same story you've told for the last 38 years, you'll never get away from the side of your own "Pool of Bethesda"...

The Scripture at the top of the post says "prosper and be in health as your soul (mind) prospers"...in the same way that focusing on trying to get out of debt generally attracts more debt, focusing on trying not to be sick tends to keep you sick...your body is designed to heal itself...take your medicine if you have to, but focus on being healthy...your thoughts manifest your reality into matter...what you believe and focus on determines what happens...as I said, if you're under a doctor's care, then believe that the treatments he/she administers are going to work, and connect them to positive energy, with a vision of a better future for yourself...

In every profession, the "experts" are only equipped with knowledge gathered and based upon past perceptions and observations, and that includes the medical world...remember, all things are possible, and every day medical science finds cases that they cannot explain away in conventional medical terms...these unexplainable cases are often called “Miracles”, but what they tell us is that the past doesn't have to dictate the future...

Someone said miracles are the "acceptance of perfect health and well being as the natural state of your existence"...sounds right to me...if you're in pain, it's certainly hard not to focus on it, but if you focus only on pain, sickness, and disease, you inevitably attract more pain, sickness, and disease to yourself...the Universe doesn't make a judgment call on whether or not your thoughts are good or bad...it just responds to the energy that you are sending toward these things through your thoughts and words, and assumes you want more of the same..."Take up your bed and walk" really just means "Start thinking a new way"..."Create a new energy"...

Even if you are manifesting sickness at this very moment, you can still shift your focus and rethink your beliefs about “Miracles”...the neuropaths in your brain are just like paths in the woods...the less you travel on them, the sooner they disappear...creating a new path isn't easy, but it can be done...if you had heard that poor man tell his sad, old story of victimization to Jesus, and had heard Jesus' seemingly irrelevant reply to him, you might think that Jesus didn't have compassion on him...but He actually did the man a huge favor by re-framing his future for him...and the man got results...he was completely restored to health, and didn't need an angel or magic waters to help him manifest it!

The past has no doubt created this moment, or the NOW...whether you think so or not, what you experience NOW, has come about based upon what you thought, believed, and felt in your past...this present moment is the accumulation of every thought, belief, perception, and desire, that you’ve ever had, but it does NOT have to determine your future experiences...you can keep taking your medicine or your treatment, if need be, and still begin to focus on creating a different future for yourself...whether you call it faith or "intention", you have creative ability to change things...the next moment is undecided and filled with every possibility...your future can be what you desire it to be, if you hold an intent and belief which are congruent with that vision...nothing is impossible...take up your bed and walk!
