CHRISTMAS PARADIGM SHIFT AND THE OBSERVER EFFECT

“There's always going to be bad stuff out there. But here's the amazing thing -- light trumps darkness, every time. You stick a candle into the dark, but you can't stick the dark into the light.”

― Jodi Picoult

"...and the Light shines in darkness, and the darkness cannot overtake it"...Christmas is all about a revelation...an epiphany...a New Birth...a change of heart...a paradigm shift...a triumph of Light over darkness...

With the revelation of the miracle of Christmas, the Grinch's heart grows three times its normal size...Ebenezer Scrooge rethinks his life, and is euphoric to wake up and find that he hasn't missed Christmas, after all...he ecstatically wishes a Merry Christmas to everyone, and a Happy New Year to the whole world, with no trace of "Bah! Humbug!"...George Bailey realizes that he really does have a wonderful life, and wants to live again...Charlie Brown comes out of his depression about the commercialization of Christmas, and just decides to relax and enjoy it for what it is...

We've discussed here on the blog and at METRON Community the concept in Quantum Physics called "the Observer Effect", the idea that the observer creates reality...

Wayne Dyer says, "If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"...that's it...ideally, Christmas changes the way we look at things...call it magic or miracle, the truth is that this is the time of year when we open up our hearts to believe that the clunky and clumsy logic of natural law is completely suspended, and suddenly we re-visualize a world of possibilities...a dreamland where anything can happen...not just a place where every mother's child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly...not just a dimension in which an angel tries to get his wings by showing you that you've really had a wonderful life...not just a strange world in which ghosts visit you in the night, and cause you to have a completely transformational paradigm shift about life, about money, about relationships, about yourself...but an amazing, timeless world where massive angelic choirs serenade shepherds out in the middle of nowhere, in the dead of night, for no apparent reason...a place where eastern magician-astrologers are led by celestial light to a foreign country just to worship an infant King...a nexus for the visible and invisible realms, where a virgin can somehow conceive, and, inexplicably, the Word is actually made flesh and dwells among us...a real place where He appears and our souls feel their worth...

Yesterday, my FB friend, Francis, posted this comment on the previous blog post, "You are so right! Whatever we want in this human experience we can have it.  As for me and mine...I want to live in heaven on earth. I believe we will wake up one day and hear...You've been here all the time..."

It made me think of the story of Jacob in Genesis 28 when he awakens from his dream of the stairway or ladder into "heaven", and realizes that he is already there...

Jacob woke up from his sleep. He said, “God is in this place—truly. And I didn’t even know it!” He was terrified. He whispered in awe, “Incredible. Wonderful. Holy. This is God’s House. This is the Gate of Heaven.”
(Genesis 28:16, 17 - The Message)

Basically, that's what happens to Ebenezer and George and the Grinch...they realize on Christmas how awesome it all really already is, and what they already have...Christmas causes them to change the way they look at things, and then the things they look at change...

That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown...

THE OBSERVER EFFECT, CHILDHOOD DREAMS AND THE POWER OF RE-IMAGINATION, Part I

Do you remember your childhood dreams? Do you remember when you really believed, without reservation, that absolutely anything was possible? Remember living in a world in which  Santa Claus was a big deal, and so was the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, and you weren't at all embarrassed to make room at the dinner table for an imaginary friend? Remember having uninhibited fun playing childhood games of make-believe with abandon with other little kids for so many hours on end that you got to a place in your thinking where you could hardly tell the difference between your imagination and reality? Remember when imagination felt real, and "reality" felt inferior to the world that existed inside your head?

Remember what you were like before "life" happened to you? Remember when your heart was light and free, and you hadn't learned how to hold grudges yet, and were a complete stranger to bitterness? Remember when laughter was a major part of your day, every single day, and you didn't know how to take things so seriously? Remember when you didn't know how to worry about money or paying the bills yet, and you just assumed that you would always have enough?

Now, I know I'm speaking to the best part of childhood...to the ideal and romantic notion of it, if you will...and I'm very aware that many people have had traumatic childhoods full of painful memories and lack and abuse...I know full well that there are many people who maybe can't even relate to any of these questions...those who had their spirits crushed early in life...

But if you can indeed remember and relate to any of what I'm talking about here...if you can, in fact, remember some of that magic, especially your childhood dreams, then please open your mind for a moment to the possibility that the "child" version of you is still alive and well somewhere in one of the dimensions that Quantum Physicists tell us exist...imagine, if you can, that somewhere out there in the deep vastness of space and time there is another version of you...a version of the you who didn’t give up on those dreams...a you who didn't stop daydreaming, even though your teachers reprimanded you for it...a you who didn't fully pay attention to the authority figures in your life who repeatedly exhorted you to "be realistic"? What if there's a "you" in some other place in the Universe that never stopped believing?

What if that "you" is still somewhere inside the you that world sees and interprets, buried under emotions and memories and layers and layers of life-experiences?

Jesus told His followers more than once that unless they became like children, that they could never enter the Kingdom of God...He said that the child-paradigm of the world was the optimum, and was the only way to really "see" God...

Even if you were not a happy, imaginative child...even you never experienced the wonder, curiosity and optimism that children hopefully enjoy...and even if you actually experienced all of that, but education and discipline and responsibility and expectations and just the daily grind/pressure/stress of adulthood took it all out of you and knocked the wind out of your sails, this post may still be relevant to you...

What if the 'Observer Effect' is a stronger reality than we realize? We've heard it said that when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change...if that's really true, then why couldn't we change our past by changing the way we look at it? Why can't we re-imagine our own childhood and re-invent ourselves from our earliest years?

This is from a recent post: (THE POWER OF THE OBSERVER: CREATING THE FUTURE/CREATING THE PAST - 7/29/14) http://metroncommunity.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-power-of-observer-creating.html

Not only does the observer change the present and the future by what he or she sees, he/she also changes the past in the same way...it's why the "R" in the METRON acronym is the word RENEWAL...the quantum universe is one which pulsates in and out of the void multiple times every nano-second, endlessly recreating itself anew...in the Scriptures we see this concept manifested in the doctrine of Justification ("just as if they had never sinned"), and why we read in the Hall of Fame of Faith chapter (Hebrews 11), the biographies of the OT saints seeming to be re-written...in Genesis we see Sarah mockingly laughing at the ridiculous notion of having a baby in her old age (she even gets rebuked for it), but in the NT the story is spun to imply that she laughed with joy, as in confirmation of a prophecy, and even shows her agreement by naming the baby Isaac, which means "laughter"...parallel realities, or a change in observation?

Each moment brings with it a potentially new past, which we are the ‘builders’ of in the present moment...we are here to write and re-write our own stories ("the Gospel according to you"), editing it and re-editing it until all concepts of victimization have been removed, and the story is told as a win/win tale... in this present moment right now there are endless possibilities..it is an infinitely layered moment in time, vibrating with unmanifested potential...in the future, when we consider this multi-dimensional moment in which we find ourselves, we will probably focus our attention and only remember a certain piece or aspect of this very moment, crystalizing it in time, and this will be our ‘memory’ of that seemingly past event...and yet, the way we remember this present moment in the future will have an actual effect on the way that moment in the future manifests...in other words, the way we contemplate the past has a creative effect on how the present moment manifests....prophetic insight includes prophetic memory...remember this day as one of the most beautiful ones in your whole life...create your future...create your present...create your past...create your life...

To be continued...

THE OBSERVER EFFECT: ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

Yesterday at METRON I started a new series called 'Spiritual Insight and the Observer Effect', which for me if a fascinating subject that I am energized to explore fully...Quantum Physics shows us that it is the act of observing an object or an event or a condition or a circumstance that causes it to be there, and that the outcome is based only on our choice and how we observe it...this concept is discussed quite a bit in the Scriptures...for example, this famous passage: "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life..."...the Universe constantly "sets before us" a quantum field of potential, and an event in our lives becomes either a blessing or a curse, depending on how we observe that event... an object cannot and does not exist independently of its observer...again I say that God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them, and whatever Adam called them, God called them...the Universe brings sub-atomic particles to us to see what we will call them, and whatever or however we observe them to be, the Universe agrees with our observation, and they manifest as our reality...there really is no "objective reality"...everything is subject to the observer...

The Quantum Field is an infinite field of potential...all things are possible... anything and everything that has, does or will exist in the Newtonian world, begins as a wave in this "quantum field" and is transformed into the physical realm, limited only by what can be conceived as truth by the observer...Jesus didn't say that "the truth" would make you free, He said that the truth that you "know" would make you free! Medicine doesn't make a sick person well...the medicine that the sick person takes can make them well...

If something isn't truth for you, the observer, then for you it's not The Truth...that's why revelation is so important, and can't be grandfathered in...it's why we talk about the concept of a "Rhema word"...you could say that the Logos is an infinite field of potential, but the Rhema manifests when the Logos is "observed", and becomes real to the individual...

I don't hear this phrase used so much in my circles these days, but there was a time in my life when I was regularly around people who I would hear say "You need to stand on the Word!" or "I'm standing on the Word for my healing!" or "Stand on the Word for your deliverance!"...of course, "The Word" they were referring to was the Christian Bible, the protestant canon of Scriptures to be exact (and usually the King James Version)...truth be told, over the years I've seen a lot of people die who were "standing on 'the Word' for their healing", and I've heard a lot of people talk about the benefits of standing on the Word for this and that, but, in all honesty, haven't seen those people manifest a lot of desired effect from it...as a result, I've come to the conclusion that we indeed need to "stand on the word", but we need to stand on the word that's written on our hearts, not the "Word" that's written on paper...just standing in theory on a set of Scriptures that may or may not be relevant to your personal situation probably won't get you the outcome you desire...

Consider this...in the Gospel of Mark, the woman with issue of blood said in her heart, "If I can just touch the hem of His clothes, I will be made well"...she had no "Word" to confirm that idea...no Scriptural precedent...no one even to agree with her for that to happen, because there was no doctrine of "clothes-touching" that existed...it was an original thought...her original observation of possibilities...she basically made up her own "Word" concerning touching the clothes of someone she had never met, in order to stop a 12 year hemorrhaging problem that no doctor had been able to cure...and she got a manifestation of what she observed! Jesus said to her, "YOUR faith has made you whole!"...He could just as easily have said "Your observation of the infinite quantum field has made you whole"...she created her own reality and it worked for her, but I dare say that if someone else tried to copy her and get the same results that they would be greatly disappointed...her manifestation of reality was the result of her own observation!

Not everyone wants to hear this, but for the most part, we are responsible for what happens in our own lives...that shouldn't make you sad or too introspective about why your life is the way it is...on the contrary, it should inspire you to observe the infinite quantum field, and realize all the options that you have...if you observe that it's a good day, it becomes a good day...if you observe that you are successful, then you are successful...

All things are possible to him that believes...

All things are manifested to him as he observes...
