TODAY AT METRON - 5/28/23

“[Love] continuously covers all mankind; it is habitually loyal to all humanity; it constantly has an expectation for all mankind; it is continuously remaining under and giving support to all people. (or, since “all” can also be neuter: It progressively puts a protecting roof over all things; it is habitually trusting in, and believing for, all things; it is continually hoping in or for all things; it keeps on patiently enduring all things.)”

(I Corinthians 13:7 - JMNT)

TODAY AT METRON - 5/14/23

“Beloved, love always includes others, since love springs from God; its source is found in the fellowship of the Father, Spirit and Son. Everyone who encounters love immediately knows that they too are born of the same source! It is not possible to fully participate in love without discovering God. To love is to know God; to know God is to love. Not to love, is not to know God. There is nothing in love that distracts from who God is - they are inseparable. So now, with us awakening to our full inclusion to this love union, everything is perfect! Its completeness is not compromised in contradiction. Our confident conversation echoes this fellowship even in the face of crisis; because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD - our lives are mirrored in him. (You are as blameless in this life as Jesus is! In this is love perfected within us, that we may have confidence when we face the scrutiny of contradiction in our daily lives, because as he is so are we in this world…the word “krisis” is often translated, “judgment”. So, the day of judgment is translated “in the face of crisis”, or “facing the scrutiny of contradiction in our daily lives”).”

(I John 4:7, 8, 17 - The Mirror Translation)

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to EMPATHIZE with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”

(Hebrews 4:15 - NIV)

“Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do. And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, THEY HAVE THEIR OWN HISTORY TO DEAL WITH. Treat them gently.”

(Romans 14:1 - The Message)

“Empathy comes from the Greek empatheia – em (into) and pathos (feeling) – a penetration, a kind of travel. It suggests you enter another person’s pain as you’d enter another country, through immigration and customs, border crossing by way of query: What grows where you are? What are the laws? What animals graze there?”

– Leslie Jamison

“This capacity for empathy leads to a genuine encounter – we have to progress toward this culture of encounter – in which heart speaks to heart.”

 - Pope Francis

“Empaths and Lightworkers did not arrive on this planet to lead a cheerful carnival parade into a perfect New Earth paradise. There is much work to be done before anyone will ever enter that promised land.”

- Anthon St. Maarten

“If you find yourself saying ‘But I’m just being honest’, chances are you’ve just been unkind. Honesty doesn’t heal. Empathy does.”

– Dan Waldschmidt
