The study of Newtonian Physics as we know it began around 1665, when Sir Isaac Newton, who was then a university student, was sitting in an apple orchard near his home, watching an apple fall from a tree and hit the ground...this observation of "what goes up must come down" started a whole chain of thinking...a revelation that resulted in Newton formulating his ideas about the nature of gravity and motion...ultimately, it led to him providing a mathematical formula for them...he neither invented gravity, nor discovered it, but he described it and the way it functions so clearly and so effectively, that for centuries afterward the scientific world unquestioningly relied on his theories about gravity as an undisputed fact..almost anyone who has ever taken a science class in school has heard this story in one form or another, and it makes sense to our natural minds, and the way that we perceive reality in the physical world...
Fast forward 250 years, to around 1905...somewhere in that window of time, scientists began to notice that physical matter can behave very differently when you observe it on a microscopic level...as they explored that world which is invisible to the naked eye, they discovered that the dependable, sensible laws of physics that were described by Newton and his colleagues just simply did not apply on a sub-atomic level...this newer science that they embraced, as we have already discussed in previous posts, became known as Quantum Physics or Quantum Mechanics...
In the realm of Quantum Physics, scientists made the amazing discovery that light can simultaneously be both a particle and a wave...that may not seem like a big deal to you if you're not from that community, but this finding really kind of changed everything...Newton’s calculations could never have allowed for such a realization..the groundbreaking work done by accomplished men like Max Planck and Niels Bohr, which led to breakthroughs in Quantum Physics, moved the world's understanding of science and physical reality to a whole new level...they opened up an unprecedented way of studying and understanding the unpredictable way that things behave in the sub-atomic world...and it wasn't just about particles and waves...that was sort of just the beginning of the way that QP turned the scientific world upside down...from there, the more that they observed and uncovered through the microscope, the clearer it became that Mr. Newton's logic simply didn't compute in that world...the more that they tried to understand it, however, the more mysterious it became...
But even though these men proved their theories over and over again, it did not mean that Newton’s theories of gravity were wrong...and it most certainly did not mean that gravity ceased to exist...somehow, the parallel realities of Newtonian Physics and Quantum Physics continue to be true at the same time, even though they seem to contradict one another in many ways...
As we've discussed before, Jesus said, "You have heard it said, but I say..."...the logos and the rhema continue to co-exist in parallel realities...as you evolve, you are the new you, but you are still the recognizable you...Jesus said that He didn't come to destroy the law, but that He actually came to fulfill it...on one level that seems like a contradiction in terms, because everything He said and did seemed so blatantly destructive to the law...again, parallel realities...on more than one occasion He told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to be crucified, and that He would be raised from the dead after three days, and yet He rebuked and tried to avoid those who were trying to take His life...the man whose son was plagued with seizures said to Jesus, "I do believe, but help my unbelief"...Jesus told the sisters of Lazarus that He was, in fact, the Resurrection, and yet He wept when He saw the tomb of His dead friend...on the Day of Pentecost, Peter stood up and accused his audience of crucifying an innocent man, but in the very same breath he said that the event had happened exactly as God had planned it...parallel realities...
The point in all this, and the connection of it to Newtonian Physics and Quantum Physics both being true, while at the same time refuting each other is this...the world is complex...your thoughts are not always neatly compartmentalized into logical categories...it's possible to say with Charles Dickens that it's "the best of times and the worst of times", and totally be telling the truth about your life and current circumstances...the glass IS half full, but it's still half empty, and that's a reality, regardless of how anyone observes or perceives the glass...
In the sub-atomic world, Newton's Law of Gravity is basically obsolete and irrelevant, and that's been proven, but I promise you that if you go up on the roof of the building where you now are and jump off, you're going to find that Mr. Newton made a valid point about gravity that is just as true as it was in 1665...
In a word, stop overthinking everything...if you're having a bad day, it doesn't mean that you're not having a good day...things aren't that black and white and clearly defined...you may be going through something that you know on some level is the right thing for you, maybe even a blessing in disguise, but you still hate that it's happening...when a loved one who has been ill for a long time, and has suffered terribly finally transitions, you're relieved that they are out of their pain and suffering, but are still broken-hearted that they're gone...you're not crazy...you're not schizophrenic...you don't have multiple personalities...you're not even "double-minded", necessarily...everything doesn't always have to make sense...
Everything is everything...
It just is what it is...
I have my own reasons for writing this today...my own catharsis, if you will...but I hope that it also resonates with you...I feel sure that it probably does, because we're all connected...
Light exists as particles, but it still exists as waves...
And what goes up still must come down...

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!
So many great lines from the Disney classic, 'The Lion King'..."You are more than what you have become"...a line to which it is quite easy to relate..."Remember who you are"...something we probably need to hear or think about fairly regularly...you were created in the very image of God...you are a king, meant to function as a Quantum Creator...as a being of light, spoken into existence by the 'Father of Lights', what you think of as ‘reality’ is in fact a field of quantum activity that you perceive in a very limited way due to being housed in a human body...when the Word, which was in the beginning, becomes flesh, that flesh has to be continually reminded of the eternalness of the Word...the bottom line is this, you only see a part of the true reality, just like you perceive time as being linear....that's why Paul said, "...now we know in part, but then shall we know, even as also we are known"...
Quantum Physics teaches us that we are are the creators of how we perceive or observe this reality... when you have a goal or a desire or an intention, especially one that you speak out, you immediately broadcast it into the quantum field, and it immediately exists as what we would call a Quantum Probability Wave...it's why Jesus said in Mark 11:24 to believe you receive "when you pray"...it's why Paul talked about imitating the God who "calls those things which are not as though they are"...
We’re doing this observation/creation thing every single second of every day, but the secret to manifesting what it is you want is to give it sufficient attention...to give a goal sufficient time, energy and expectation, you Quantum Create it as a definite thing which exists at a point in space and time...you can say that it exists from the moment you think of it (or believe you receive when you pray), but your perception of linear time makes it look like you haven’t received it yet...another way to say it is this: "Faith is the EVIDENCE of things not seen, the SUBSTANCE of things hope for"...
Quantum Physics has shown us that the simple act of observing a sub-atomic particle actually changes it, or, in other words, when you change the way you look at something, the thing you look at changes...this amazing fact has had a huge effect and powerful impact, not only on the scientific community, but also for those who are on a spiritual journey...the great spiritual masters have taught us since ancient times that we are beings of light and energy, and now in the modern world, science has confirmed and validated that that is exactly what we are on a sub-atomic level...science and spirituality (the mouth of two or three witnesses) confirm that everything in this universe exists as energy, and that includes our thoughts...thoughts are energy...in the same way that scientists have changed the behaviour of sub-atomic particles merely by observing them, we can change or bring about certain outcomes merely by focusing (or re-focusing) our attention...
This is an amazing revelation...Quantum Physics is helping us understand spiritual truths about the universe and therefore ourselves...we now know that the universe is renewed on a sub-atomic level every few seconds...think about what that means...the entire universe is engaged in a never-ending explosion of creation and transformation...a literal "Circle of Life"...sub-atomic particles are destroyed, and in the very moment they die, they give birth to new ones...the majority of these sub-atomic particles, most in fact, have a life span of just a few billionths of a second, which means that in the time you've been reading this post, the universe has been totally renewed and re-created many times over...certainly makes it easier to believe the words, "Behold, I make all things new!"...
If this resonates with you, or causes something to stir deeply in your spirit, it's because you already knew this..."Let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning..."...REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!... imagine everything in the universe being wiped clean and restored, just slightly differently, every trillionth of a second or so...the universe is pulsating with life!...dancing with life!...when a particle is created, it is instantly travelling at the speed of light, and you are made from the same particles, which means that you are also travelling at the speed of light too...REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!
Nothing is impossible...every moment is a new beginning...when the I AM said "Let there be light", He created a dynamic, living reality, in which every moment is a fresh start in a brand new universe...that's why we have the chance to change our thoughts and intentions and begin again..."Unless a man is born again he cannot SEE the Kingdom of God"...when we look at life this way we can see every second as an opportunity to change...to go "from glory to glory"...to use this knowledge for empowerment and to manifest our intentions...we were created to create! REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!
You are not stuck. Remember that...
You are more than what you have become. Remember that...
It's not too late...a brand new reality is created every single moment! Remember that...
The Circle of Life is real, and you're a part of it. Remember that...
Your creative power is quite literally IN THE NOW! Remember that...
You were born to be a king. Remember that...
REMEMBER...REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!

THE OBSERVER EFFECT: ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
Yesterday at METRON I started a new series called 'Spiritual Insight and the Observer Effect', which for me if a fascinating subject that I am energized to explore fully...Quantum Physics shows us that it is the act of observing an object or an event or a condition or a circumstance that causes it to be there, and that the outcome is based only on our choice and how we observe it...this concept is discussed quite a bit in the Scriptures...for example, this famous passage: "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life..."...the Universe constantly "sets before us" a quantum field of potential, and an event in our lives becomes either a blessing or a curse, depending on how we observe that event... an object cannot and does not exist independently of its observer...again I say that God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them, and whatever Adam called them, God called them...the Universe brings sub-atomic particles to us to see what we will call them, and whatever or however we observe them to be, the Universe agrees with our observation, and they manifest as our reality...there really is no "objective reality"...everything is subject to the observer...
The Quantum Field is an infinite field of potential...all things are possible... anything and everything that has, does or will exist in the Newtonian world, begins as a wave in this "quantum field" and is transformed into the physical realm, limited only by what can be conceived as truth by the observer...Jesus didn't say that "the truth" would make you free, He said that the truth that you "know" would make you free! Medicine doesn't make a sick person well...the medicine that the sick person takes can make them well...
If something isn't truth for you, the observer, then for you it's not The Truth...that's why revelation is so important, and can't be grandfathered in...it's why we talk about the concept of a "Rhema word"...you could say that the Logos is an infinite field of potential, but the Rhema manifests when the Logos is "observed", and becomes real to the individual...
I don't hear this phrase used so much in my circles these days, but there was a time in my life when I was regularly around people who I would hear say "You need to stand on the Word!" or "I'm standing on the Word for my healing!" or "Stand on the Word for your deliverance!"...of course, "The Word" they were referring to was the Christian Bible, the protestant canon of Scriptures to be exact (and usually the King James Version)...truth be told, over the years I've seen a lot of people die who were "standing on 'the Word' for their healing", and I've heard a lot of people talk about the benefits of standing on the Word for this and that, but, in all honesty, haven't seen those people manifest a lot of desired effect from it...as a result, I've come to the conclusion that we indeed need to "stand on the word", but we need to stand on the word that's written on our hearts, not the "Word" that's written on paper...just standing in theory on a set of Scriptures that may or may not be relevant to your personal situation probably won't get you the outcome you desire...
Consider this...in the Gospel of Mark, the woman with issue of blood said in her heart, "If I can just touch the hem of His clothes, I will be made well"...she had no "Word" to confirm that idea...no Scriptural precedent...no one even to agree with her for that to happen, because there was no doctrine of "clothes-touching" that existed...it was an original thought...her original observation of possibilities...she basically made up her own "Word" concerning touching the clothes of someone she had never met, in order to stop a 12 year hemorrhaging problem that no doctor had been able to cure...and she got a manifestation of what she observed! Jesus said to her, "YOUR faith has made you whole!"...He could just as easily have said "Your observation of the infinite quantum field has made you whole"...she created her own reality and it worked for her, but I dare say that if someone else tried to copy her and get the same results that they would be greatly disappointed...her manifestation of reality was the result of her own observation!
Not everyone wants to hear this, but for the most part, we are responsible for what happens in our own lives...that shouldn't make you sad or too introspective about why your life is the way it is...on the contrary, it should inspire you to observe the infinite quantum field, and realize all the options that you have...if you observe that it's a good day, it becomes a good day...if you observe that you are successful, then you are successful...
All things are possible to him that believes...
All things are manifested to him as he observes...

Quantum Physics and the Mind of Christ Part II
In the beginning was the Word.
In Greek it is said, "In the beginning was the Logos"...
In Aramaic it is, "In the beginning was Willed Action"...
Here is John 1:1 in the JMNT:
Within a beginning (or: In union with Headship and Sovereignty) there was the Logos (the Word; the Thought; the collection of thoughts; the Idea; the Reason; the discourse; the communication; the verbal expression). And the Logos (the idea; the thought; the expression; the Word) was facing, [directed, and moving] toward, (or: continued being face to face with) God. And the Logos (the Word; the thought; the idea; the reason; the expression) continued being God.
(or: Originally, within the midst of the first principle, the Word was existing and continued to be, and the Word was being [projected] toward God. And this Word, It was existing actually being God;
or: In command was Reason, and Reason was staying with God, for Reason was just what God was;
or: The Thought was in the midst of [the] Source, the Thought was oriented toward Deity, and the Thought was [an extension of] Deity;
or: In beginning, the collected and put side by side Thoughts continued in progressive existence, and the collected and put side by side Thoughts continued being a progression to God, and God {“the Divine Mystery” – Paul Tillich's definition of theos} was in continued existence being those collected and put side by side Thoughts;
or: In union with [the] beginning there was the continued existence of the Idea, and the Idea was continued existence face to face with God, and the Idea continued in existence being “the Divine Mystery;”
or: In beginning, the Word continued Being. Then the Word was Being directed toward God. And yet the Word was Being God;
or: Within the power of beginning – which is the controlling principle and power of the entire process – there existed the Idea, and the Idea was aimed at and moving toward God.
Also, the Idea existed being God).
(John 1:1 - Johnathan Mitchell New Testament)
Observe these very telling and descriptive words and phrases implied from the original language in this famous passage about the "Word" which became flesh (or the God-Man, Jesus Christ)..."the Thought", "the collection of thoughts", "the Idea", "the Reason", "the discourse", "the communication", "the verbal expression", "the continued existence of the Idea", etc...whatever that "Word" was that John was trying to describe in human language in the prologue of his Gospel, it existed long before there was any concept of a collection of books that we now call the Bible...
In a previous post we have discussed this verse and the concept of the "Theo-logic" that was defined as being in "The beginning" (or in "A" beginning, as some texts say)...the bottom line is that we believe that that Thought/Reason/Idea/Logic/Willed Action became a person in the physical dimension for approximately 33 revolutions around the sun, and then declared that "He" had to go away, so that another Helper could come who would lead us into all Truth...not into a collection of books written by 40 Jewish authors over a span of 1,500 hundred years, but into ALL TRUTH...the Bible contains it and connects to it, but is not by any means ALL of it...the Word became a human being, not a library of books, and then that person said that He had to go, so that Something/Someone else could come..."man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that PROCEEDS (present-tense) out of the mouth of God"...
I love the Holy Spirit.
I love the miraculous.
I love the supernatural.
I love the Mind of Christ.
I love ALL TRUTH.
I love that science, particularly Quantum Physics, is helping our minds catch up to what our spirits already knew...once again we are embracing "the Thought", "the collection of thoughts", "the Idea", "the Reason", "the discourse", "the communication", "the verbal expression", "the continued existence of the Idea"...
It's the greatest time in history to be alive! Be grateful that you lived to see it!

Quantum Physics and The Mind of Christ, Part I
I am a believer.
I am a seeker of Truth.
I love God...I love Spirit...I love Source, and I love the real Jesus...
There's not much about conventional Christianity that I relate to any more...I really prefer not to even be called a "Christian" any longer, because of what that word has come to mean to most people these days...it's not something that I aspire or even pretend to be...and I don't connect to labels, anyway...I don't believe that it's the end of the world, (I think it's the greatest time in history to be alive), and I don't identify with the "spiritual warfare", legalism, bibliolatry, and especially the exclusivity with which so much of current Christendom seems to be preoccupied...
But I am definitely a believer, and I do love Jesus and will always believe in Him, and will live out the rest of my days talking about Him to anyone who will listen...I love His words, His parables, His miracles, and most of all His revelation to the world of Agape...I believe very much in the Two Great Commandments, and am convinced that the Gospel is simply the Good News, manifested in the two concepts He specified, which are basically (1) Love God (2) Love people...I still embrace the Apostles' Creed, with its mystical references to His virgin birth and His bodily resurrection from the dead, and believe that Quantum Physics confirms the possibility of these things...
"Never a man spake like this man"...that's what they said about the Jesus that I know and love...the real Jesus who was the earthly manifestation of the Mind of Christ...the One who said "You have heard it said '_________', but I say '_________'...I am mostly interested in what He is saying NOW...
The Mind of Christ changes the way we see spiritual things...some examples: observing the Universe through the paradigm of the 'Tree of Life' makes seeing it through the consciousness of the 'Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil' obsolete...the New Testament triumphs over the Old Testament, as the writer of the Book of Hebrews reveals to us that Moses, the Lawgiver, is no longer the Captain of the House, since he has been replaced by Christ, the Life-giver..."Ultimate Reconciliation" (which is basically Pauline theology 101) is simply this: "The Last Adam trumps the First Adam", as he tells both the Romans and the Corinthians that "all were lost in Adam, but all are found in Christ")...he reveals to the Galatians that "Spiritual Israel" is more the focal point now than is national Israel...even Jesus in the Gospels, when preparing His disciples for the coming of 'the Parakletos' said, "It is necessary for you that I go away, so that "He" can come"...
In a parallel reality, Quantum Physics has given us the prospects of new realities not afforded through conventional Newtonian Physics...Old Testament/New Testament...Newtonian Physics/Quantum Physics...things that make you go hmmm...
As we have already said, Quantum Physics is the scientific discipline that demonstrates that the conventional belief that matter has permanent reality is false...scientific discoveries of the relationship between Quantum Physics and the mind demonstrate a core principle that cause and effect is reversed as it is understood in the world...the radical revelation that the "observer" affects the outcome of experiments on a subatomic level connects quantum physics and spirituality as something that we now call the Law of Attraction...the mind alone is causative...this is one way among many in which we can relate the concept of God and Quantum Physics ("Let us make people in our image...")
The Mind of Christ is beyond a unified field...it is so vast that it transcends perception...it surpasses what for centuries has been referred to as matter (Paul described this as "the breadth and length and depth and height"), and now we see with Quantum Physics that the unified field is completely overthrowing the laws of Newton, along with the "normal" behaviors of objects, the physics and the real world as we have known it...the understanding of the observer in QP is the closest that we have come in this world to walking in the Mind of Christ, which manifests boundless, unconditional love, and makes us realize that we are one with the Creator...
To be continued...

CONSCIOUSNESS, INTENTION, AND SYNCHRONICITY IN THE UNIVERSE
According to the laws of Quantum Physics, every single thing in the universe basically exists as undefined energy until an observer focuses on it...reality is created through observation, and it is consciousness alone that collapses the wave-particle, ultimately causing manifestation...without consciousness, everything would exist only as pure potential...if we believe that God always was, we must also recognize that at some point "He" became conscious to the point of initiating creation...when we awaken in our consciousness, our intentions become increasingly powerful...there are infinite possibilities that need only intent to make real...
How does intention work? Through observation.
In order to observe or notice anything, you pretty much have to ignore everything else around it...intention is about focus...observation turns possibility into reality...we can create the life we want, as God did in creation "in the beginning" with consciousness alone...
Everything that happens in the Universe starts with intention and, as we have discussed, everything in the Universe is connected...events that happen separately and do not directly cause each other are acausal events (not governed or operating by the laws of cause and effect)...however, acausal events have a common cause which is intent...it's why "coincidence" isn't usually random...intent is what creates and synchronizes those separate events to fulfill a common purpose of which they are a part...when you make a conscious choice through intention, the Universe takes care of the details necessary to fulfil that intention through synchronicities...as Emerson said, it "conspires to make it happen"...
The whole universe functions by synchronicity...David said, "the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord"...when Paul tapped into this concept, he concluded that "all things work together for good"...every moment of our life operates in synchronicity...confirmation is happening all around us at all times...the only reason we do not experience synchronicity fully is that we are not in the state of awareness to notice that it is happening...but the more aware we become, the more we see that everything that is happening in every moment is happening together with everything else that is a part of fulfilling the intentions by which they were created...remember, you're here because the Elohim said "let us make people in our image, and let them have dominion"...
Make your intentions count today...focus on what you really want to create..."think on these things"...then open your eyes to become aware of how the Universe is bending toward manifesting the thing(s) on which you are focused...it's wonderful to be conscious, and it's a great day to be alive!

THE POWER OF THE OBSERVER: CREATING THE FUTURE/CREATING THE PAST
What you see is what you get...Quantum physics shows us that the way we observe the universe in this present moment literally evokes the universe that is observed...in the book of Joshua we see the city of Jericho described as being completely unchanged from the way it appeared before the wandering of the Israelites in the wilderness, still absolutely militarily impenetrable ("none went in, and none went out"), and yet God says to Joshua, "See! I have given you the city!"...the emphasis is on the word "See!", not on the appearance of the conditions of the situation...our perception of the universe is a part of the universe that is happening through us that has an effect on the universe that we are observing...the Genesis account describes the work of the Creator and uses the words, "And God saw that it was good"...Quantum physics points out that it makes no sense whatsoever to talk of an objective universe separate or independent from the observer...in a word, the universe is what we see that it is...the world is what you see that it is...your life is what you see that it is...noted physicist John Wheeler said,“Useful as it is under everyday circumstances to say that the world exists ‘out there,’ independent of us, that view can no longer be upheld. There is a strange sense in which this is a participatory universe.”
Not only does the observer change the present and the future by what he or she sees, he/she also changes the past in the same way...it's why the "R" in the METRON acronym is the word RENEWAL...the quantum universe is one which pulsates in and out of the void multiple times every nano-second, endlessly recreating itself anew...in the Scriptures we see this concept manifested in the doctrine of Justification ("just as if they had never sinned"), and why we read in the Hall of Fame of Faith chapter (Hebrews 11), the biographies of the OT saints seeming to be re-written...in Genesis we see Sarah mockingly laughing at the ridiculous notion of having a baby in her old age (she even gets rebuked for it), but in the NT the story is spun to imply that she laughed with joy, as in confirmation of a prophecy, and even shows her agreement by naming the baby Isaac, which means "laughter"...parallel realities, or a change in observation?
Each moment brings with it a potentially new past, which we are the ‘builders’ of in the present moment...we are here to write and re-write our own stories ("the Gospel according to you"), editing it and re-editing it until all concepts of victimization have been removed, and the story is told as a win/win tale... in this present moment right now there are endless possibilities..it is an infinitely layered moment in time, vibrating with unmanifested potential...in the future, when we consider this multi-dimensional moment in which we find ourselves, we will probably focus our attention and only remember a certain piece or aspect of this very moment, crystalizing it in time, and this will be our ‘memory’ of that seemingly past event...and yet, the way we remember this present moment in the future will have an actual effect on the way that moment in the future manifests...in other words, the way we contemplate the past has a creative effect on how the present moment manifests....prophetic insight includes prophetic memory...remember this day as one of the most beautiful ones in your whole life...create your future...create your present...create your past...create your life...

SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY, QUANTUM PHYSICS AND THE QUEST FOR TRUTH
Beliefs produce energy.
What you believe about God...what you believe about the world...what you believe about yourself...all the thoughts and beliefs that you carry with you, including your theology and your world-view, produce a particular energy around you that is affecting your life more than you realize...I certainly believe in God, but the God I believe in now isn't necessarily the one I grew up believing in (or trying to believe in, at least)...so I respect whatever you believe or don't believe about your God or your religion or your spirituality...it doesn't matter to me at all if your language of choice causes you to refer to your "Higher Power", or if you prefer to talk about your relationship with "The Universe"...you may believe in Intelligent Design, but are not comfortable with limiting the concept of a Deity/Creator to anthropomorphic dimensions or a particular gender...I get it..."Namaste"...it's all good...if you're an atheist or an agnostic, I have no problem with you, and I know I can't argue you into believing in God...but I do believe in people, and I believe in communication, and I certainly believe in love, so you're good with me, and I want to try to understand why you think like you do...
Some people have opened themselves up to the idea of God through Quantum Physics, and even believe that it proves His existence...and it arguably does just that (in an indirect way), by providing an alternative to the philosophy of materialism (or “physicalism”, if you will)...materialism is basically the main intellectual opponent of belief in God in today’s world...in a word, materialism is an atheistic philosophy that views all of reality as being reducible to matter and its interactions...it has gained influence in the modern world because many people think that it’s supported by science...in their world-view physics has shown the material world to be a closed system of cause and effect, sealed off from the influence of any non-physical, or un-seen (metaphysical) realities, if any actually exist...in that particular line of thinking, since our minds and thoughts obviously do affect the physical world, it would seem to follow that they are themselves merely physical phenomena...no room for a spirit-realities or soul-realities...
There was a time not so long ago when no self-respecting scientist would allow for spiritually as an answer to anything, and spiritual or religious people generally prided themselves in being intentionally non-scientific...but that is fast changing in this great Apocalypse (Unveiling), in large part because of Quantum Mechanics...this discipline/science/ideology throws a monkey wrench into the simplistic mechanical view of things...as there are some things that the Bible just doesn't answer...things that continue to be mysterious to us, even though we have preached about them and prayed about them and searched the Scriptures to understand them...so science can no longer claim to have all the answers neatly packaged and ready for delivery, either...bottom line, science and spirituality need each other...
No less a figure than Eugene Wigner, a Nobel Prize winner in physics, claimed that materialism, at least with regard to the human mind, is not “logically consistent with present quantum mechanics.”..and on the basis of Quantum Mechanics, Sir Rudolf Peierls, another great 20th-century physicist, said, “the premise that you can describe in terms of physics the whole function of a human being ... including [his] knowledge, and [his] consciousness, is untenable. There is still something missing.”...
Jesus told His disciples that a Helper was coming after He left Who would lead them into ALL TRUTH...not into Christianity...not into a world seen only through a Biblically created paradigm (since the Bible was compiled centuries after all those men passed away), but into ALL TRUTH...The Message Bible says in that passage "He will lead you into all the truth that there is"...
Thank God for science...thank God that seekers of truth of every stripe are finding that they are not as polarized as they thought...I know that the world is older than 6,000 years, and I don't believe that it was created in six 24 hour time periods...science has proven that the earth is at least several million years old...but I still believe in a Creator, and I call Him God...I still believe in the supernatural...do I believe in evolution? It's virtually impossible for any intelligent person to not see it's obvious reality, but I still believe that everything was supernatural in origin...God created it all...so God bless Quantum Physics and the men who brought that science and way of thinking to our attention...God bless the people who believe in the Laws of Attraction...God bless all the religions of the world, and the people who penned Holy Writ...I might not believe everything they said, but I don't deny their sincerity in their search for transcendence, and I honor it...beliefs do produce energy...it's important to believe in something, even if you don't have all the answers...remember today that you can be totally open-minded, and still have a strong belief-system that works for you...come, Holy Spirit...lead us into all the TRUTH!

LET THERE BE LIGHT!
"And God said, 'LET THERE BE LIGHT"...science (particularly Quantum Physics) teaches us that everything that exists in the universe consists, at its core, of pure energy...everything is interconnected with everything else, both the seen (or the 'physical'), and the unseen (what some would call the 'metaphysical')...so if everything in existence at its core is comprised of this same vibrating mass ...of pure energy (both the seen as well as the unseen), then what the most enlightened teachers in the history of the world have taught, and spiritual texts have shown for thousands of years is true...we really are all ONE!
Here's the thing...all things (including you) are basically made out of the very same vibrating mass of pure energy that is intricately interconnected with and to everything else...it really doesn't matter which avenue you choose to study, whether spirituality, religion, rightly dividing the Scriptures, Quantum Physics, Laws of Attraction, human physiology, cosmology, etc., the bottom line is that all avenues will ultimately lead you to the very same conclusion ("the Knowledge of the Lord fills all the earth"), and that conclusion is that we really are all ONE...
You don't have to be a minister or a priest or a rabbi or an imam or a mystic or a shaman or a swami to get this...you can see it just through the simple observation of nature ("the heavens declare the glory of God")...Jesus' famous prayer of John 17 was totally a reaffirmation of this fact...ONENESS is what it's all about...that's why the power of agreement is so strong...it's why Paul exhorted the Corinthian church to all "speak the same thing"...diversity is a beautiful thing, and I certainly want to live in a world where there is a constant exchange of different ideas among and between people with different world-views...a healthy society is based largely on that freedom...and I absolutely believe in the sovereignty of the individual, and celebrate my own uniqueness, as I believe everyone should...it's important to know that you're special, and why...but on the very deepest level, we're all ONE! Be connected to that ONE source of Light and energy today in your thoughts and words, and draw strength from it (I'll resist the temptation to say "May the force be with you!" here)...
You are not alone...you are not disconnected...you are not cut off...live in harmony with others and with yourself and with your own destiny today...speak words that create ONENESS-awareness within yourself, and in all your relationships...be in harmony with nature and with the ancestors and with the universe and with God...you are made out of the very same Light (energy) that started it all!
