MEDITATION WEEKEND XVIII - SAINT SIMONS ISLAND - 4/29-20/23

“Literally the best one yet!!”

- JG

“IT WAS EVERYTHING!”

- BB

“…The sunset meditation was held in a pavilion close to the Pier rather than the beach due to the weather being iffy...as it turned out, that was exactly the place it needed to be. It felt like we were in an upper room and felt a rushing, mighty wind (literally and figuratively). The Spirit of God was among us for certain. There were many of us that needed to release things that no longer served us, and it was powerful…”

- JBT

“…we’re glad we came”

- DC

“…thank you Bishop for an absolutely powerful and transformative experience.”

- BJB

“…Today was a glorious day full of laughter, some tears, and some emotions that words cannot describe. Raw, pure, and messy emotions. I never know for certain what's going to happen on these Meditation Weekends. What I do know is that it'll be something profound and confirmation of what we may already know, but we may block ourselves from realizing. I always get what I need…”

- EJ

“Thank you for doing these, last night was wonderful, you’re a very gifted man to operate in the spirit and be used to touch souls in this kind of way…”

- EWS

“Thank so much for last night. I knew I needed something and I came with an expectation...Last night lived up and more. On to what God has in store for #19 I can't wait…”

- SS

“This meditation right here!!!! This had a little something extra on it...Healing!”

- BB

"The Spirit of God met us here and changed our lives forever!"

- RF

"seismic…epic…and vibrant MM18 was…"

All I know is I am still buzzing....and when you anointed my head with oil....I felt a huge shift! someone said today I even looked like I was glowing! No doubt in my mind it is Spirit within me....I am so appreciative of your gifts and your willingness to share them. I love you and Ken and all of METRON community"

11/11/16

"...I've been going to "church" with you and your ministry, online, if you will. I've looked to you as my spiritual Bishop. I was laughing at you recently, where in a recent sermon you said how people write to you and say these very words...how you're the one they refer to as their Pastor. But man oh man, it's true! There's a digital flock out here and you're the Pastor of it Bishop Jim. I know that much to be true. And I'm one of them. Will I ever return to church some day? I don't know. And that's kind of why I'm writing you...No matter what, I thank you for what you're doing. Keep preaching. (As if you'll ever stop). Keep reaching folks all over. Stay encouraged. Know that the Lord is with ya, and you're appreciated for the love and acceptance that you preach. No matter what Bishop...I do know, that I'll keep tuning in. "

9/18/16

It's a good day when you're still thinking and going on words that have activated your own energy and they are manifesting things you speak into the atmosphere. I love Metron because it's moving in the "NOW"...To me it means, if you are living your life in what has been handed down for years..the energy of that is gone. That's why nothing is working for you.We often wonder why churches are not filled.I don't go because it's boring and non-effective...Thank you Bishop Jim Swilley...You have us marching to a different beat and you're leading us and we are being productive in our daily life. That to me is exciting. That is why I get excited about the teaching. I just had to share it with others.

8/29/16

"...I can only imagine how busy you are and how many weekly messages you get from others, so I try hard not to bombard and flood your inbox..saying how much I truly enjoy and glean from every single message you open your mouth to speak, but honestly..I could. Every week I could come here and tell you what a profound effect that a certain phrase or insight you presented had on my thinking and how it's challenging my perceptions..and knowing that if I could just put that concept into practice..it would literally transform my LIFE. Seriously, I could say this weekly..but I try to spare you. haha!

Bishop, I'm typing this through literal tears..because there's no possible way for me to express adequately with human words how much I love and appreciate you..and who you are in my life. When you show up in any capacity..with a word of encouragement or assurance..or with the slightest sign of connection in any form, I'm grateful. I've told you this before, and it's still true: Your voice..is THEE spiritual voice in my life in this season. I honestly don't know how this came to be, but I'm really glad it did. Your voice is needed..and always welcome in my life."

8/21/16

Some time last year I found your video on YouTube and from that day to this I have felt a connection to you and your ministry that I can't seem to shake. To some extent I can say that the truth and enlightenment that you & your companions share on YouTube have saved my life. I know I have written you privately but I wanted to make a public declaration that what you are doing is still a great work and has impacted my life in a way you prob will never know! One day soon I will visit you at Metron and I am looking forward to it. Until then stay encouraged and continue to shake off the ppl who don't want to see you succeed Bc if it had not been for your success I would not be better today. God bless you bishop!

"Bishop...Phewwwww! With every cluster of new teachings, you bring to the table a full 7-course meal. I've read that it takes about 6 hrs to actually eat one of those, and it takes at least that long for me to gather up all the manna you've just dropped..and the rest of the week to devour, dissect, absorb.. and to get it properly flowing through my veins.

When I tell you that I've never missed Metron once since you began over a year ago, I mean NEVER. In fact, sometimes..I watch the same service twice just to let it sink in even deeper. I've been to church most of my life and I've been blessed to sit at the feet of a few amazing ministers of the gospel, but for the past 7 or 8 yrs, I haven't been connected with any particular ministry. Mainly because, my thinking is just not in keeping with most of their teachings any longer and it's just hard for me to sit through~you understand. Ha. I attend a local church periodically, but it's not for my sake..it's only because my granddaughter loves their children's program. Although I've never met you face to face..I just wanted you to know that Metron is not a cyber-church supplement for me, and you are not just another spiritual voice that I tune in to. You are in fact, THEE Spiritual Voice- that I glean from in this season of my life. Thank you for that.

Blessings...

PS..you and Ken are wonderful people in general."

-DS

"For many years of my life I have ran from all forms of religion, and grew a strong hatred for Christianity. I was touched, it brought tears to my eyes to see the open mindedness and support you have given people. I honestly watched the video for distasteful reasons. I have for the majority of my life had very low expectations for Christians. Where others see love and community I see hate and slavery. What I was looking for was another reason to hate, but instead I found a reason to love. I wish you the best. I am truly happy I stumbled across this video. Maybe there is hope for the rest of the world after all."

- JM

"...so refreshing to have the word reconciled by spirit science. God created man in his own image, not he or her, or humanoid, but consciousness, we are him & he is us. The Big Bang did happen & it's God's perfect creation of evolution, being able to adapt. When two or more are gathered in his name or laying of hands means shared energy, driving the negative away with positive vibrations. I'm glad you're teaching this, because quite frankly I'm tired of arguing with & offending other stagnant Christians."
- TH

"I just have to tell you...for the first time in years I finally have inner peace!! I am at peace with God and myself. Thank you again!! I have been watching your Metron services on YouTube. I am seeing the scriptures in a whole new light now--it's so liberating. I can finally love people and see people the way God sees people---and myself!! How can you love your neighbor as yourself when you don't love yourself? You just can't

Today I love myself!! And now I can love people and live in peace.
God Bless you Big"
- SM

"I'm very glad of the direction of your journey, I too have had my faith restored by breaking with the traditional & seeking the truth which was always there but has been diluted & even demonized. Between sacred geometry, vibrational energy, noetic science & others, it has explained much of the Bible to me through science instead of just blind faith. Prayer circles are the same as an energy healing circle, our body was designed for love and the universe conspires for us. I believe Christ was sent here to teach us the way, the secret if you will. Sadly, many Christians are offended or afraid of the truth. I believe we are on the verge of a great awakening or evolution and applaud you for being brave & wise enough to spread the word."
- TH

"...although I haven't seen you in person since you were a child at Faith Memorial, I must say that virtually everything you post on here speaks directly to my heart. I'm really interested in the blending together of traditional religious thought and more modern spiritual ideas. As for me I am still trying to somehow recover from the sudden death of my younger sister in May. Every day has been a challenge. What you say on your posts has really helped me in my recovery. Keep up the wonderful work you do. You are helping more people than you know..."

- CSA

"It is just AMAZING to see the person you have evolved to. I have been under your leadership since late 90's early 2000's and I am amazed at your change in paradigm. What I get from it most is freedom. Freedom to be who you want to be and not living the rest of your life how others expect you to be. It encourages me that I don't have to wait until my 50's to have that freedom. I am also amazed at how my outlook on what I have been taught all my life has changed but my faith is stronger than ever and my love for my creator is stronger than ever. I'm just amazed at who you have become and are becoming."

ABOUT METRON

"METRON" is an innovative spiritual movement that originated from the ministry of (Bishop) Jim Swilley in the summer of 2014, which brings together the best elements of CHURCH IN THE NOW ("Real People Experiencing the Real God in the Real World"), and connects them with other schools of thought which are of interest to modern spiritual seekers, such as Quantum Physics, The Law(s) of Attraction, Motivational Speaking, and other spiritually relevant concepts...think of the events as sort of 'TED Talks' meets spirituality...the METRON Community connects every day here and at www.youtube.com/bishinthenow, and physically meets every Sunday at 11 AM at Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema in the Midtown Promenade, 931 Monroe Drive in beautiful and historic Midtown Atlanta...
