"Jesus said to them, 'A little while the light (nohra) is with you. Walk while you yet have the light (nohra) so that darkness will not overtake you. He who walks in darkness does not know where he goes. While you yet have the light (nohra) with you, have faith (heymino) in the light (nohra), that you will be children of enlightenment (nohra).' Thus spoke Jesus and went off and hid from them. 'I came as enlightenment (nohra) unto all men (alma) so that whoever completely believes (damheymin) will not stay in darkness. If anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I will not condemn (dain) him, for I came not to condemn (doon) men (alma), but to save men (alma).'"

"AT THE VERY BEGINNING THERE WAS WILLED ACTION"

From the 'Khaboris Manuscript' (in Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke)...

"At the very beginning (brashest) there was willed action (milta), and the willed action (milta) then was by God (Alaha), and God was that willed action (milta). The beginning (brashest) was by God. All was by Him and without Him not a single thing came into being out of that which was. From Him there came into being a perfect life (kyayi) and this perfect life (khayi) became light (nohra) unto all men. And this light (nohra) out of darkness caused light, (manhar) and darkness did not overcome...And willed action (milta) became flesh and dwelt (agan) among us, and we saw glory as if begotten from the Father, completely filled (damali) with heavenliness (teyboota) and righteousness (koshta)."
(John 1:1-5, 14 - Khaboris Manuscript)

You have the very nature of God in your DNA...the ability to move positively in the power of what this verse in the Aramaic language calls "Willed Action"...this ability, this "Willed Action", which is the essence of Creativity, produces the courage within us to face all of our fears and to overcome them...

"Willed Action" creates CONFIDENCE...

Confidence comes from first making the decision to be decisive, and then from building on that decisiveness to "will" the world in which you want to live into existence...

"Willed Action" creates STRENGTH...

Strength comes from deciding to live fearlessly, and from utilizing your innate, Divine Power to create the life that you want to live, and then enjoying that life without excuse or apology...

"Willed Action" creates HAPPINESS...

Happiness comes from looking over your own creation as God did His "in the beginning", and from saying to yourself, as He did, "It is good!"...

Paul's famous words to Timothy in the first letter that he wrote to him from prison contains the immortal words "God has not given us a spirit of fear", and indeed Paul's words there were inspired... John is famous for saying "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear!", and truer words have never been spoken...David said, "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the STRENGTH OF MY LIFE, of whom then shall I be afraid?, and David lived the kind of life that proved he walked in the "Willed Action" of this concept...Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen", and Emerson's quote has the same spark of Divine Truth in it as do these words spoken by Paul, John and David...

Truth is truth...

Those who live by the principle of "Willed Action" are not afraid to embrace change...they are not afraid to tell the truth, as they see it and know it...the people who live in "Willed Action" are not afraid to be themselves...they are not be afraid to accept a challenge...they are not be afraid to try something new...they are not unnecessarily defensive over their belief systems...not afraid to listen to a different point of view...they are not afraid to give their opinion, but are also not intimidated by the differing opinions of others...

James talked about being DOERS of the Word, and not hearers only...those who practice and manifest "Willed Action" are not afraid to try again after having failed at something...they are not be afraid to admit when they are wrong, and can easily learn from their mistakes... they are not afraid to believe again, even when they have been greatly disappointed...they live in a PROACTIVE world, rather than in a REACTIVE one...they not be afraid to be vulnerable...they are not afraid of rejection...they are not even afraid of receiving bad news...

This past Sunday at METRON, I talked about Job, and about how his story starts out as the ultimate victim's saga...in the first chapter of the book bearing his name, both God AND Satan basically wager a bet about the source of Job's integrity, and sort of play with his life to prove their respective points about him...we are introduced to Job as a man who has absolutely no say about what happens in his world...supernatural forces are determining what happens to him, and he is unaware of the source of his troubles, and powerless to do anything about them...he goes through a series of extreme trials and horrible misfortunes that would have killed a lesser man...

But the story ends very differently than it begins...we finally see God coming to Job, personally, and speaking to him out of a violent storm...He tells Job that, ultimately, his own "Right Hand" can save him...amazingly, the victim's saga ends as the ultimate parable of personal responsibility...God shows Job that his own "Willed Action" can change his circumstances, and the story culminates in a dramatically happy ending, with no mention of "Satan" or any consultation with him...Job wills his life into a different direction, and his "Willed Action" supersedes God's and Satan's horrible test...he ends up better and more prosperous than he was before the story began...

You have the power to change your thoughts...the power to improve your attitude...the power to use your words positively, and to stop allowing them to work against you...you have the power to will yourself into the life that you want...you can be better...you can do more...you can have more...you can be more...

Listen to the Voice that is speaking to you out of your own violent storm, and change your life for the better...

You are not a victim...

Let there be light!

Law of Attraction and Raisinets

I already talked about this today at Metron at Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema, but I want to say something about it here...this month my teaching topic is 'PRAYER, INTENTION, AND MANIFESTING YOUR BEST LIFE', so I'm thinking a lot about the Law(s) of Attraction, and about how we manifest the desires of our heart, and about what prayer really is and what it isn't...so earlier this week the thought crossed my mind that I hadn't had any Raisinets candy in a minute and was kind of jonesing for some, but I got busy and forgot about it...then yesterday I considered going to see a movie (Ken has been on call all week), and thought about Raisinets again, and decided that I would just get some at the theatre...but I didn't sleep well the night before and was kind of not feeling all that great, so I opted out of catching a flick...but I needed to go to the store to pick up a couple of things last night, so I went to the Publix around the corner from me...I did not get a shopping basket, picked up only three (3) items, and took them straight to the Express Counter to purchase them...there was no one in front of me, no one behind me, and absolutely nothing on the counter...I paid for my three items, went out to my car, reached into the bag to get something, and realized that there were four (4) items in the bag when I pulled out this big bag of Raisnets...I didn't bring it to the counter, don't know where it came from, and was not charged for it...things that make you go, hmmmm...
